Beltane is a time for renewal and growth. It is a time for new beginnings, hopes, and dreams. This is a festival where we make plans, plant ideas, and start to realize our intentions.
Come celebrate this wonderful time of rebirth at Fox Haven as we raise the Maypole and light the fires!
BELTANE PLANS
MAYPOLE
A tree is chosen and erected with ribbons streaming from the top. Dancers take a ribbon and weave them around the Maypole. Others play musical instruments or simply enjoy the celebration. It is truly a beautiful sight!
Join us for a magical ritual of life, merriment, and beauty as we celebrate life returning to the land, spring, and new beginnings!
FIRST FIRE
At sunrise on Beltane, just as the sun's first rays peak over the horizon, the Beltane fire will be lit in celebration of light and life returning to the land. Chant, dance, or sit in meditation with us.

Throughout the festival, fires will be lit including this first fire, evening bonfires, and cooking fires!
ARTS
Like all Pagan Haven events, Beltane will include artistic endeavors. Since this festival celebrates new life, one of those will be creating flower wreaths for our heads. This is a longtime tradition for Beltane and something fun to do together!

We will also be having a music night after one of the dinners. Bring an instrument, a song, or a favourite poem if you wish to share. All are invited to enjoy the songs and tunes brought forth from those gathered.

Registration includes:
three communal meals a day (self-serve breakfast, a lunch, and a dinner)
communal sleeping accommodations or campsites
exclusive access our over 100 acres site
use of all facilities including boats, sauna, trails, and buildings.
